  • AOI

    The AOI promotes and encourages commercial and ethical standards within the industry, to improve the standing of illustration as a profession. With over 1,800 members, including freelance illustrators, agents, students, colleges and commissioners, the AOI provides support, advice and education to members of the industry worldwide, at every stage of their career.

  • The Illustrator's Guide

    James Hughes is an illustration agent at Folio Art in the UK, representing some of the best international professional illustrators. He has also been a contributor and contract adviser for the Association of Illustrators. James shares tips on the business of illustration through his blog and YouTube channel: The Illustrator's Guide and coaches and mentors freelance illustrators to help them get started in their creative careers.

  • Proko

    Hosted by artist and teacher Stan Prokopenko, Proko is a resource for artists to get good art instruction videos. When you watch Proko tutorials you’ll notice that he makes them entertaining while keeping them educational.Stan feels that if you’re having fun and enjoying the learning process, you learn better. You retain more information, you pay more attention, you’re much more likely to continue learning and more likely to go back and re-watch tutorials.
